Background
For 30 years,
the Pacific Northwest hot rodders and auto enthusiasts have helped establish
the Puget Sound Limiteds' Spring Fling as one of the traditional opening
rod runs of the season. It's a great all-day fun outing for the entire
family in the new location of the Nile Golf Club in Mountlake
Terrace. You can park your special interest vehicle on the grass, enjoy
your own picnic lunch or enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks which
are available for a nominal cost. Rub elbows with old and new enthusiasts,
car builders, friends, and even take part in kids and adults games.
Registered
entrants receive dash plaques, and are eligible to win trophies in several
categories. We'll also be drawing for a variety
of great door prizes. Spectators are FREE to enjoy some of the finest
examples of the automotive art - vintage pickups, fat-fendered cruisers,
street rods, customs, restorations, muscle cars, low riders, motorcycles.....you name it.
Remember to send in the completed pre-registration form prior to the cutoff date to be eligible for the Pre-Registration drawing.
The event
runs from 9:00am-3:00pm. You must register your vehicle before noon. There is
a $15 donation requested per entered vehicle (spectators free).
To get to
the Spring Fling, take Exit 177 off Interstate 5 (Edmonds/Kingston Ferry
exit) head West and turn into the Nile Shrine Center and Golf Coarse on
your right. SEE YOU THERE!!!
This show
jointly benefits the Nile Shrine Charities and Puget Sound Limiteds Charities.
